Who

We always like to start from “Us”.
We were once professionals who had a dream: to innovate. In 2015, pooling together many years of work experience, we created a technologically advanced consulting company to support organizations with their digital transformation journey. Today we design and implement IT infrastructures, manage processes and support SMEs, large companies and public or private bodies with systems of superior quality.

We’re passionate. It’s not enough for us to be competent. We are very lucky to be passionate about what we do. And it is this passion that drives us to turn technology into a tool for finding the most effective solutions for our customers.

We’re curious. Innovation is a human universe with new territories to develop. We want to explore what’s new and gain knowledge that we can then offer to our customers, who we listen to constantly in order to build lasting partnerships.

Together we can look far ahead into the future. Our professionals, our minds, our energy sources. Without them, nothing we have achieved would have been possible. Today SMI can count on the experience, expertise and passion of 60 employees. A young and purposeful staff, whose average age is 42. Gender equality is a virtuous model for us, and we have applied it successfully: SMI currently employs 50% women and 50% men.

About us

Life changes in an instant. It’s 2015. It was difficult at that time to be able to look beyond the daily routine and make plans for the future. But we didn’t give up. We couldn’t. We didn’t listen to those who blocked our path with doubts and uncertainty. We chose those who did not ask us “why?”, but rather “why not?”.
We had a dream and wanted it to become reality: a company that was great to work for, where passion was the norm. And we became a team, with a shared project, a common mission in which individual differences become strengths and valued for their uniqueness. So what is impossible for others has become possible for us. Life changes in an instant: that instant when we decided to believe in our dream”.

Our platform allows advanced monitoring thanks to an engine optimised for the aggregation of data from different sources. This enables the platform to correlate meaningful information in real time in order to identify anomalous and concerning behaviour on customer systems.

Now fully integrated with Microsoft Azure Sentinel, it gives an instant overview of the entire infrastructure being monitored, managing responses to potential threats proactively and handling unforeseen events with built-in automated responses, thus minimising the period of exposure to undesirable situations, partly by the use of machine learning algorithms.

Our API units facilitate integration with other Cloud-based infrastructure including Google and AWS; alongside the service desk (for tickets & troubleshooting management), this results in an extremely functional, high-performance tool which is adaptable to the client’s specific needs.
